Who is this course for?

The course is suitable for those who will be leading and conducting external audits against ISO 22000 and for quality assurance managers, food safety professionals, regulatory compliance officers, and food safety consultants. It equips them with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct effective audits, assess compliance with relevant standards, and identify areas for improvement in food safety management systems.

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, learners will:

1. Understand the principles and concepts of food safety management systems and ISO 22000.
2. Acquire the skills necessary to plan, conduct, and manage an ISO 22000, leading an audit team as an external auditor.
3. Be able to apply audit techniques and methodologies to assess compliance with ISO 22000 requirements.

5. Gain insight into the certification process and the role of the lead auditor in achieving and maintaining ISO 22000 certification.

Assessment and Certificate:

Candidates will be continually assessed throughout their course and successful candidates will achieve an NSF Lead Auditor ISO 22000 Certificate upon completing their course. This recognition is granted upon the satisfactory attainment of all the practical requirements, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of managing an auditing team in auditing food safety management systems. This NSF certificate serves as evidence of the individual’s achievement and proficiency in auditing food safety management systems.
